Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Kent

Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Kent is a family-oriented Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Kent, Washington, affiliated with the Alliance team. Its owners and instructors came up through the Alliance program and opened the school to share that lineage locally. The gym teaches both gi and no-gi, with separate beginner-focused Fundamentals and Intermediate adult classes, and a kids' ladder that starts in the preschool years and moves through to young teens. A women's program called Alliance Diamonds welcomes newcomers and experienced students alike. Training happens before work, at lunchtime and in the evening, with a weekend open mat for rolling. Students come for fitness, self-defense or competition, and the school draws members from Auburn, Covington, Maple Valley and Federal Way. Newcomers can start with a free class that includes one-on-one introductory instruction.
