Elliott's Martial Arts Academies is a family-run kickboxing club founded in 1989 by Clive Elliott, an 8th Dan black belt who trained under Guru Dan Inosanto and appeared on BBC2's Masters of Combat. This Newbury hall, based in John Rankin Junior School, is one of four venues across Newbury, Thatcham and Wantage. It hosts mixed adult classes, a women-only kickboxing class and junior groups for children aged five to eleven. Training is organised by belt level, from complete beginners through to experienced students, with structured grading for juniors. The club also teaches Functional JKD and Kali, and has a background in Defendo and Filipino martial arts. New students are welcome to try a first class free.
