Embrace Boxing is a women-only boxing and Muay Thai club in Bethnal Green, East London. It began as a space for Muslim women who wanted female instructors and has grown to welcome women of every background and level, with beginners especially encouraged. Founder Ruqsana Begum, a Muay Thai world champion and Intercontinental boxing champion, leads the classes, supported by a small team of Level 1 coaches. Sessions run at the KO Gym premises on Bancroft Road, and the programme also includes strength and conditioning and personal training. The club has its own clothing shop and a related nutrition site, and bookings are handled online.
