GFTeam San Antonio is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy on the city's northwest side, part of the GFTeam network of affiliated schools. It was founded by Professors Emma and Mike Martinez and serves both adults and children, including a Little Champions class for ages 3 to 5. The school is listed with the IBJJF and USBJJF registry, and its youth students appear to compete in tournaments. Training covers gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu, with self-defense also mentioned in public listings. The gym is active on Facebook, regularly sharing clips of kids' classes and belt promotion days, which gives a good sense of its family-friendly community.
