Grappling Zone is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy led by Grand Master Edison Leandro da Silva, a 9th-degree red and white belt with over 55 years of experience training since 1963 in Rio de Janeiro. The school offers classes for all ages—from Little Grapplers (ages 3–6) through adult advanced levels—in both gi and no-gi formats, alongside kickboxing instruction. With three locations across the Houston area (Pearland, Fresno, and Friendswood), Grappling Zone supports a competitive BJJ team and runs specialized youth programs. The academy also offers a Veterans Sponsorship Program, reflecting its commitment to serving the broader martial arts community.
