KC Fightbase MMA is a combat sports gym in Kirkby, on the north-east edge of Liverpool. Its training centres on Muay Thai and mixed martial arts, alongside boxing, K1-style kickboxing and grappling, with fitness, circuit and strength sessions for members who want conditioning as well as technique. The gym runs classes for adults and a dedicated kids programme, and its fighters compete on regional MMA shows, with coaches holding pad rounds for them on the morning of their bouts. The club has been part of the local martial arts scene since around 2012 and keeps an active community of members, from children taking their first classes to amateur competitors.
