Living Defense Martial Arts is a family-oriented martial arts school in Sherwood, Arkansas, founded and led by Grand Master Danny Dring. It has served Sherwood, Gravel Ridge, Jacksonville and North Little Rock for many years. The school teaches Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both gi and no-gi, boxing, kickboxing, MMA and Weeping Style Jujutsu, a system it presents as its own. Programs run for young children through adults, from a Little Dragons group to beginner and advanced classes, with a competition class and the Team LDMA fight team. The gym has a mat area, heavy bags, Thai pads and weights. It also holds concealed carry pistol classes, and it offers a free trial class to newcomers.
