Midsouth LCCT is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Millington, Tennessee, serving the greater Memphis area. It teaches in the Gracie-influenced curriculum of the Luiz Claudio Combat Team, with a gi emphasis. The academy runs separate programmes for children, for teens and adults learning the fundamentals, and for blue belts and above, plus a competition class and a weekly open mat. Training follows a method that combines breathing, athleticism, technique and live sparring. The academy is led by owner and head instructor Stan White III, a black belt, supported by a team of assistant instructors who work with kids and adults. Newcomers can start with a free introductory lesson. Belt promotions follow a published progression for both kids and adults.
