Mill Hill BJJ, founded by late world champion Nicholas Brooks under Roger Gracie's lineage, began as a brown belt passion project in a small building called The Boat. Brooks established the wider Mill Hill BJJ association across Europe—now 30+ academies—before his death in 2021. Today's London academy is led by owner-coach Cristinel Tilvar, alongside black belts Silviu Nastasa and Michelle Nicolini, and decorated kids' coach Rob Connor. The gym teaches gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu alongside wrestling, judo, and submission grappling. Classes span Monday to Saturday with dedicated age-group and advanced competition streams, serving children from age 4 through competing adults.
