Renzo Gracie Cape Town is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in the Cape Town city centre, carrying the Renzo Gracie Academy name and led by Professor Kurt "Coach" George, a black belt with Renzo Gracie and John Danaher lineage. Gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu is the core, alongside Muay Thai, judo and kids' wrestling, with programmes for beginners, teens and children, a women's class and a competition team that travels under the Renzo Gracie banner. The academy has two mats, a separate striking room, weights and bags for members, an in-house gear store and a coffee shop with workspace. Visiting grapplers are welcome, and international seminars are hosted.
