SJJA Crows Nest is the flagship school of Sharp Jiu-Jitsu Academy, a Sydney-based network founded by Bruno Alves, a multiple-time world champion and fourth-degree black belt in the ZR Team lineage. The academy teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu in both gi and no-gi, with fundamentals and advanced classes, sparring sessions and a wrestling class. Programs cater for young children, kids, teens and adults, including a dedicated women's program led by a black belt coach. Training happens across two mat areas, and a free first class makes it easy to try. The wider SJJA kids team has won national, state and Pan Pacific team titles, and the school is part of the IBJJF-registered SJJA community.
