South Bank Taekwondo is a non-profit community club in Camberwell, south London, named after the university where its lead instructor first set it up. It teaches World Taekwondo Olympic-style and traditional Kukkiwon taekwondo, with pad work, sparring drills, self-defence and poomsae. Separate junior and senior groups welcome every skill level, and students progress through regular belt gradings. Training takes place in a school sports hall, and members can also take part in competitions and seminars. The club is a registered British Taekwondo member club and a full member of Taekwondo Chungdokwan Great Britain, led by a 6th Dan instructor with a team of DBS-cleared, first aid certified and safeguarding-trained coaches. New students can book a free trial class.
