Grand River Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Grand River Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a family-oriented academy in downtown Cambridge, Ontario, teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu in both gi and no-gi. It is led by Professor Cicero Schiavini, a third-degree black belt and IBJJF-certified referee, and is part of the Cicero Costa Team. Programs cover children, teens and adults, plus a ladies-only class and a multi-generational family class where kids and adults train together. Self-defence elements are woven into every class, and newcomers of any age or fitness level are welcome to start with no prior experience. The gym also hosts guest seminars with visiting instructors from its team and keeps an active blog on kids' and adult jiu-jitsu. Free parking is available nearby.
