Ucelo Martial Arts Phoenix

Ucelo Martial Arts Phoenix is a family-owned and operated dojo on the Phoenix and Glendale border, open since 2003. It teaches karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing, with age-based kids' programs starting at four years old and classes for teens and adults. Students progress through a belt system and test at annual outdoor events in the park, with board breaking, forms and sparring. Instruction is described as bilingual, and the school also runs a summer camp and offers private lessons. Led by Sensei Kikin Ucelo, with his sons helping to teach, the school serves families across Phoenix, Glendale and Peoria and has been recognized locally and in regional media. It is also listed as an IBJJF-registered academy.
