Vickery Jiu-Jitsu & MMA is a Fort Myers, Florida academy that opened in 2015 and is led by head instructor Carl Vickery, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in the Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu lineage who also has an amateur boxing background. The core of the program is BJJ in both gi and no-gi, supported by Muay Thai, MMA and boxing training and a regular mixed-striking sparring session. The schedule includes a kids' gi class, separate women's gi and no-gi classes, and open mats. The academy is registered with the IBJJF and welcomes people of any age, size or skill level, and first-timers are encouraged to come try a free class.
