Ipswich Combat Academy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school based inside TruGym Ipswich. It teaches both gi and no-gi, with mixed-level sessions alongside dedicated beginners and fundamentals classes, plus a kickboxing class. Children are well catered for, with separate junior groups split by age in both gi and no-gi. New starters can join a structured introductory course that combines kickboxing and BJJ, and a free trial is available. Members get access to the gym's changing rooms, showers and parking, and the mats are kept clean. Lessons are led by a small team of instructors, including a black belt.
