Noel Smith Martial Arts

Noel Smith Martial Arts is a family-friendly academy in Glen Burnie, Maryland, built around Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and led by owner and master instructor Noel Smith, a fourth-degree black belt. Alongside BJJ, the school teaches Muay Thai and boxing, with separate programs for juniors, kids and adults. Beginners are welcome at every skill level, no prior experience is needed, and sparring is optional for newcomers in jiu-jitsu. The academy is registered with the IBJJF and USBJJF and offers tournament opportunities for those who want to compete. The team also includes a second-degree BJJ black belt and a Taekwondo black belt. Photos show a large open mat area with mirrors and striking pads, and the school stresses a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for students of all ages.
