Afewee Boxing Club

Afewee Boxing Club is the boxing arm of Afewee Training Centre, a registered multi-sport charity based on the lower floor of Brixton Recreation Centre in south London. Affiliated to England Boxing, it offers both recreational and competitive boxing for all ages and abilities, with separate sessions for young children, teenagers, women and adult beginners, plus white collar boxing and boxing-based fitness classes. The gym has an 18ft ring, a range of punch bags, free weights and a groundwork area, with gloves, wraps and skipping ropes available on site. The club grew out of a community campaign that began in 2014 and sits alongside the charity's football academy and youth empowerment programmes, giving it a strong local community focus.
