Bangor Ju-Jitsu Club

Bangor Ju-Jitsu Club has been teaching Japanese ju-jitsu in Bangor since 1982, making it one of the longer-established martial arts clubs in the area. It trains in a purpose-designed unit at Dunlop Commercial Park, sharing the building with a fitness gym. Separate junior and senior classes run across the week, with children's groups split into stages and a senior class for adults and older teenagers. The club also offers women's self-defence and door supervision training, and welcomes people with a physical disability. Instructors are reported to hold recognised teaching qualifications, enhanced background checks and child protection training. Facilities include free parking, changing rooms and showers, and newcomers can book a free trial lesson.
