It is led by black belt Drew Champlin, who comes from the Stockman Jiu-Jitsu and Carlson Gracie Team lineage and competes in IBJJF events, including the World Masters. The academy teaches both gi and no-gi, with separate kids' groups, a beginner fundamentals class, all-levels classes that include live rolling, and a weekend open mat. The gym describes a positive, ego-free training environment, and newcomers can start with a free intro class. The facility has plenty of mat space, locker rooms and ample parking, and it hosts seminars with elite BJJ athletes.
