Cotswold Combat

Cotswold Combat is a small-group Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Cirencester, offering classes for adults and juniors as well as private training. Sessions are capped at twelve members per coach, so everyone gets proper attention on the mat. Newcomers can start with a structured six-week beginners course that splits time between no-gi and gi, covering guard, sweeps, control positions, submissions, takedowns and grip fighting, with a gi and training t-shirt provided. A free starter class lets prospective members meet a coach and be placed in the right group. Members also compete, and junior belt promotions are celebrated within the club. The academy describes its values as discipline, respect and integrity.
