Diamondback Jiu-Jitsu

Diamondback Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Frisco, Texas, founded by Professor Matt Jones, who has trained since 2004 and learned from the Gracie family lineage. The school teaches adults, teens and kids in age-based groups, with both gi and no-gi training, and adds a striking program coached by a former professional MMA fighter. Self-defense is the first priority, and students who wish to can compete in tournaments. The academy describes a family-friendly culture in which higher-ranked students help newcomers, and kids receive regular lessons on values such as respect, honesty and dealing with bullying.
