Ely Dojo

Ely Dojo is a small, family-run judo club in the centre of Ely, training in a purpose-built dojo within the Fresh Studios building. It welcomes children from the age of five, teenagers and adults, with separate junior sessions by age band, an adult beginners programme and sessions for established adult members. A pathway squad and an invitation-only programme give advanced juniors a route to progress. The club is listed with British Judo, holds regular gradings and randori sessions, and runs competitions and events, including a past masterclass with an Olympic judoka. Coaching stresses technique, discipline and self-defence. Free trial lessons are mentioned for newcomers.
