Gannon’s Martial Arts

Gannon's Martial Arts is a long-established, multi-branch UK martial arts school, and its Leicester academy serves as the organisation's headquarters and central instructor training centre. Founded by Paul Gannon, who began teaching children's karate in the early 1990s, the Leicester site opened in 1997 and occupies the second floor of a city-centre building on the High Street. Children can study karate, including an anti-bullying programme, while teenagers and adults train in kickboxing and mixed martial arts. Beginners are welcome with no prior experience, and students progress through a belt grading system. Members train in a traditional dojo with thick mats, an MMA cage and plenty of pads, and the school also runs tournaments, socials and a summer camp.
