Gracie Barra Fleming Island

Gracie Barra Fleming Island is a family-oriented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in northeast Florida, part of the international Gracie Barra network and teaching the certified Gracie Barra method. It is led by Professor Max Freitas, a fifth-degree black belt with decades of coaching experience. The kids' programme is split by age into Tiny Champions and two Little Champions levels, with an anti-bullying focus, supervised sparring and tournament preparation for the older group, plus a no-gi competition class. Teens and adults train in fundamentals classes open to all levels and in classes for blue belts and above. Private lessons and small group sessions with a black belt are available by appointment. Newcomers need no experience, and a loaner gi is provided for the first class. The academy also has a record of youth competitors at tournaments.
