Gracie Barra Gloucester

Gracie Barra Gloucester is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in the city centre, part of the Gracie Barra network and teaching the Gracie Barra method under Professor Victor Estima's lineage. It is run by its founder, Professor Murray, a first degree black belt, with Professor Eli Harrison as head coach. The programme covers children from the youngest ages, teens and adults, with a beginners track, an intermediate level and an advanced and competition level, in both gi and no-gi. There are women-only classes, supervised live training, open mats and a competition team, plus self-defence training. Newcomers can start with a free introductory session, and membership includes a visitor pass for other Gracie Barra schools worldwide. Coaches are said to be DBS checked and safeguarding trained.
