Grappling Dynamics

Grappling Dynamics is a veteran-owned, family-focused Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in San Diego's Bay Park neighborhood. Programs are built on BJJ with principles drawn from judo and wrestling, and run in both gi and no-gi formats. The school welcomes students from toddlers through adults, with age-based kids' groups, adult classes for all levels, a technique-focused lab class, open mats and private lessons. A competition team is available for students who want to test themselves. The head instructor is a third-degree black belt from the Carlson Gracie lineage, and instructors are CPR/BLS certified and background checked. No experience is needed, and newcomers can start with a trial class.
