High Altitude Martial Arts

High Altitude Martial Arts is a large academy serving the Denver and Aurora area, training out of an 11,300-square-foot facility with wide mat space and a sparring cage. The program centers on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in both gi and no-gi, with separate tracks for beginners, all levels and advanced students, plus classes led by female black belts. Striking is taught through Muay Thai, Western boxing and Dutch-style kickboxing, alongside MMA. A big youth program runs from little kids through teens, with a competition-prep group and a path into the adult classes. The academy traces its jiu jitsu lineage through the Gracie family and Renzo Gracie to the Easton school, and is led by former UFC fighter Cody Donovan with a deep bench of professors and coaches.
