Hook Grappling

Hook Grappling is a small, adult-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school based on a business park near Hook in Hampshire. It teaches both Gi and No-Gi classes aimed at all levels, from complete beginners to experienced grapplers, alongside a weekly open mat. The school is led by head coach Jack Brickley, a black belt awarded by Yuki Nakai in 2023, who has trained since 2010 and coached since 2018. Classes follow a constraints-led approach, so students spend the session playing the game of jiu-jitsu rather than only drilling set routines. New students can try the gym through an online sign-up before committing, and discounts are available for serving and former military and the emergency services.
