Kola Ajose Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Kola Ajose Jiu-Jitsu Academy, also known as KABJJ, is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai school in Hercules, California, led by black belt Professor Kola Ajose, whose foundation comes from the Rickson Gracie academy in West Los Angeles. The academy teaches gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu and combat grappling to adults, plus youth jiu-jitsu from a youngest foundations class through fundamentals to competition teams, and Muay Thai for adults and youth. Both recreational and competitive pathways are offered, and the school's competitors take part in IBJJF, JJWL, BJJ Tour and ADCC events. The facility has two floors of mat space, a weight room, Muay Thai heavy bags, and a family lounge with viewing screens so parents can watch. New students can try a class first and are matched to a suitable starting level.
