Lewisham Karate

Lewisham Karate, also known as Kiwaminaki Kai Karate-Do, is a small, friendly Goju-Ryu karate club in south-east London. Training is led by 5th Dan Jo Britton, who has practised since 2001 and holds first aid and enhanced DBS credentials. The club welcomes children from age four and adults, combining a modern, fun atmosphere with traditional discipline and respect. The core kata Sanchin and Tensho are central to its syllabus. Students train in person in a leisure centre hall once a week and can join an additional online session midweek, which is included in membership. Families can train together, parents may stay to watch at the instructor's discretion, and newcomers are offered a free first class with no commitment.
