LOBO BJJ

LOBO BJJ is a full-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Barrow-in-Furness, founded by head coach and owner Mike Reay, a black belt in the LM BJJ lineage of Professor Paul Hartley. The academy teaches both gi and no-gi, with dedicated beginners classes, a rolling fundamentals programme and a no-gi roll night for more experienced students. A kids' programme runs alongside the adult classes, with toddler and parent-and-child sessions too, and there is a wrestling class. Students compete at UK events, and a junior team has represented the club at the Junior Europeans. Private lessons and group sessions for local sports clubs are also available, and the on-site shop sells gis and training gear.
