Lone Star Academy

Lone Star Academy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Amarillo, Texas, led by Professor Spencer Smith. The gym teaches both kids and adults, welcoming students of all fitness levels and skill levels, whether they come for self-defense, fitness or the sport itself. Kids train in separate Little Kids and Big Kids groups, which makes up a large part of the school's activity. The academy is registered with the IBJJF through USBJJF, and directory listings point to a youth competition group that travels to tournaments. Newcomers are invited to try the gym before committing, and the school keeps an active presence on social media showing full mat sessions and community events.
