Morumbi Jiu Jitsu & Fitness Academy - Ventura

Morumbi Jiu Jitsu & Fitness Academy's Ventura hall is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school founded by Professor Fabio Leopoldo, a fourth-degree black belt, multiple-time world and Pan American champion and former professional MMA fighter. It is one of three academies in the Ventura County area and is registered with the IBJJF. The program covers children, juniors, teens and adults, starting everyone in a structured Fundamentals program before moving on to intermediate and advanced classes, no-gi and open mats. A Saturday concept class, family classes for parents and kids, and kettlebell fitness sessions round out the offering. The school also runs belt promotions, in-house kids' tournaments, seminars and seasonal community events, and says it has been voted a top martial arts school in the county since 2009.
