Nomad Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Nomad Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts school in Sherbrooke, Quebec, teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and wrestling. It presents itself as a pioneer of these sports in the Eastern Townships. Jiu-jitsu is offered in both gi and no-gi formats, alongside dedicated classes for kids and for women, and private kickboxing lessons. The school is led by Richard Martens, a black belt in the lineage of Professor Roy Harris who has taught in the city for over two decades, and the academy is registered with the IBJJF. Kickboxing is headed by Christian Labbe, who brings experience in many styles. The gym welcomes all skill levels, from people seeking fitness and self-defence to those chasing belt promotions and competition. It also runs a second branch in Coaticook, and its site is available in French and English.
