The Jiu-Jitsu Den is a small Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Bellport, on Long Island, New York. It was opened in early 2024 by Matt Denzler, a black belt who trained under Chris and Alex Vamos. The school teaches toddlers, kids and adults, with both gi and no-gi training and a self-defense focus alongside personal development. Students of all levels train together, and the gym regularly celebrates belt promotions for adults and kids, including the kids' grey belts. The gym is registered with the IBJJF and USBJJF and takes students to local tournaments, giving newcomers and competitors a welcoming, tight-knit community to grow in.
