Parity Martial Arts & Wellness is a Southampton-based multi-discipline combat sports gym founded in 2010 as Phoenix MMA. Its BJJ programme operates under the lineage of 8th-degree coral belt Mauricio Motta Gomes, with head coach Joanne Wellstead, a British No-Gi British Open champion and founder of Enyo Grappling. The gym offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, judo, sumo and freestyle wrestling across adults, teens, and kids programmes. Instructors include professional Muay Thai fighter Mo Abdurahman. Two matted training areas, a full strength and conditioning facility, and an infrared sauna support its community.
