Chum Sut Martial Arts Academy

Chum Sut Martial Arts Academy is a Lisburn club whose name means "seek truth". It runs on the idea of developing body, mind and spirit together. The academy teaches a broad mix of arts: mixed martial arts, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, combat submission wrestling and freestyle wrestling, alongside Wing Chun and stick work. Children's classes are available as well as adult training, and one-to-one coaching can be arranged. The club says it is the only Irish club affiliated to Erik Paulson's combat submission programmes. It is led by founder Thomas Lamont, a martial artist with over 40 years of experience. Its wrestlers have taken part in a GB wrestling pathway session, and the academy has related groups and further branches elsewhere in Northern Ireland.
