LJJ Martial Arts (Coalville)

LJJ Martial Arts, also known as Leicester Ju Jitsu, has been running since 2003 and trains at Coalville in the Old Adult School Hall. The club teaches Japanese Ju Jitsu with a self-defence focus, alongside a ladies-only kickboxing class. Programmes are split by age, from pre-school Little Dragons through children's Dragon Warriors to adult classes, so families can train under one roof. The club describes its atmosphere as friendly and free of ego, and beginners are regularly folded into existing classes. Instructors are black belts who hold DBS checks, coaching diplomas, insurance, child protection training and first aid. Members grade at the club's own gradings several times a year, and a sister branch operates in Earl Shilton.
