80/20 Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing school in Edinburg, Texas, serving adults, teens and kids. Its teaching philosophy centers on the small set of techniques and strategies that deliver most of the results, which keeps training approachable for newcomers while still working for competitors. The school is registered with the IBJJF and is led by a BJJ black belt, with a separate kickboxing coach and a kids' program run by purple belt assistants. Youth students can take part in belt promotion events. The gym also lists programs for students, first responders and families, and a weekly open mat for extra mat time. Free parking is available at the building, and memberships carry no contracts.
