Alliston Martial Arts is a family-run academy in downtown Alliston, Ontario, and an official Gracie Humaitá Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school. It teaches gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu for children from age three, teens and adults, alongside Muay Thai led by a coaching team that includes a national champion. A kids' striking programme, AMA Young Strikers, blends Muay Thai, Taekwondo and Karate. The club also runs women-focused strength and self-defence seminars. The lineage runs from Helio Gracie through Royler Gracie to Professor Dave Gonzales. Founded in 2024, it won a 2026 Canadian Choice Award for best martial arts school in New Tecumseth. Beginners are welcome, loaner gear is provided, parents can watch, and the atmosphere is respectful and community-minded.
