BJJ Union is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Nine Elms, near Vauxhall, training inside the Southbank Club in south London. It is led by head coach Max Lima, a third degree black belt with more than twenty years of teaching experience, who trained under Roger Gracie and Cesar Lima and is a former professional MMA fighter. The academy runs Gi and No-Gi adult classes with fundamentals sessions for newcomers, a children's programme and a weekend open mat, welcoming complete beginners alongside experienced grapplers. A competition programme offers dedicated sparring and game planning. Members can use the club's sauna, steam room, lockers and showers, and book classes through the academy's member app. Its motto is 'One team. One union.'
