Brazilian Top Team Portland North East is a family-oriented jiu-jitsu academy in northeast Portland, part of the Brazilian Top Team system. It is led by black belt Chris Standing, a multiple-time IBJJF medalist and former MMA champion, together with his wife Michelle, who also trains and helps coach. The program covers gi and no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu for adults, teens and kids, with a dedicated fundamentals class for younger beginners, a striking class, and a weekly open mat for extra mat time. Kids' sessions mix tactical games, drilling and positional work, with live rolling once the coach approves. New students can start with a free trial week before committing to membership.
