British MMA is a West London martial arts and self-defence club founded by an ex-British Army instructor. It teaches mixed martial arts built around striking and grappling, with a 52-week curriculum that blends several styles and is mostly non-contact. Children, teens and adults train in age-appropriate groups, and there are separate female-only and male-only sessions. The club puts self-defence, confidence and self-improvement ahead of competition, and uses its own belt system with gradings through the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association. Coaches are safeguarded, first-aid trained, insured and DBS checked. Sessions take place in a school hall rather than a dedicated gym, with all equipment supplied, and newcomers are offered a free introductory class.
