DS Team Jiu-Jitsu School is a premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Newmarket, Auckland, founded by 5th-degree black belt Douglas Santos. Since 1993, the school has established itself as a hub for BJJ in New Zealand, serving central Auckland and surrounding suburbs. Led by World Champion Patricia Rodrigues and accomplished instructors, the school offers comprehensive programs from children aged 5 through adults, with a focus on traditional gi-based training. The academy emphasizes values of family, discipline, respect, attitude, loyalty and honour. All classes follow a structured curriculum supporting fitness, self-defense and competitive aspirations.
