Impulse BJJ is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Orton Southgate, Peterborough, led by its founder, black belt Fabio Ferrari. The coaching team includes several other black belts, some of them active competitors, alongside purple and blue belt assistants on the kids' programme. The academy teaches both gi and no-gi, with beginner-friendly classes, intermediate sessions, a women-only class and a weekly open mat for drilling and rolling. Children from the age of four can train in separate age-based groups. The academy is registered with the IBJJF and works across two mats, so beginners and more experienced students can train side by side. New members are welcome with no previous experience.
