Ipê Dojo Toronto is a Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club serving all ages. Founded in 2023 by Sensei Jose Eudes Perez Monteiro and Sensei Ana, the gym draws on deep Brazilian martial arts heritage—Sensei Jose previously established a 10-school Judo association in Brazil with over 2,000 members. Named after the Ipê tree, a symbol of durability, the dojo embraces a philosophy of lifelong training for every student, regardless of starting age. Classes cover BJJ in both gi and no-gi formats, Judo for adults and youth, and dedicated kids programs starting from age 2.5. The gym welcomes all levels and offers a 7-day free trial with loaner gi.
