Luton Grappling Club was founded by Dr Salaman Iqbal, Faisal Kayani and Mikael Rhaillander to create a place where people of any age could learn jiu-jitsu and belong. Later joined by world champion Faris Benlamkadem, the team emphasises beginner-friendly training—"nobody gets smashed here for someone else's ego." Offering gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adults, women, and children, alongside a separate gym-floor membership, Luton runs one of the area's most comprehensive schedules, with 50+ classes weekly across all levels and demographics.
