North Fork Jiu Jitsu is a small, owner-operated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy on Long Island's North Fork, opened in January 2020 by husband-and-wife team Randy Nieves and Kristen Falek-Nieves. Both owners trained under Greg Melita and Richard Byrne of Hampton Jiu Jitsu and continue their own training at affiliated academies. The gym offers gi and no-gi classes for kids ages 4 and up, as well as adults, with dedicated fundamentals and mixed-level programs. A women's no-gi technique class and weekend open mat make it accessible to all experience levels.
