Olympic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Olympic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, affiliated with the Início Jiu Jitsu Association, is a community-focused academy in Sulphur, Louisiana. Led by head coach Tyler Scalski, a black belt and nationally ranked IBJJF lightweight competitor, alongside professor Ryan Charles, the gym emphasizes personal growth and self-improvement over competition pressure. They offer gi and no-gi classes for all skill levels, a two-tier kids program (Tiny Ninjas for ages 5-8, Little Ninjas for ages 9-12), women-only instruction, and specialized law enforcement tactical jiu-jitsu. A dedicated competition class serves those interested in competitive training.
